10/10 EK’s Thai Kitchen is hands down the best Thai restaurant in town. Starters The fish cakes and chicken satay were excellent. Both tasted fresh, and the chicken was tender. The satay sauce was especially flavorful. The raw prawn was also impressively fresh and very appetizing Mains We tried the prawn pad thai, chicken pad see ew, and beef guay tiew khua—all were outstanding. The chef mentioned using only fresh ingredients, including fresh noodles instead of dried ones, which made a big difference in the taste and texture. The Thai-style fish is another standout. The broth it’s served in is incredibly appetizing, and it’s worth noting there’s no MSG at all. Just remember, the fish needs to be pre-ordered Highly recommend this place—you can really feel Ek’s passion for cooking in every dish.

The food was very good and each dish was packed with flavour. The fried chicken was particularly good as it had a crunchy flavoursome coating whilst the inside was moist, but all the dishes we ordered were equally good. The restaurant is family run and we had the pleasure of speaking with EK after our meal to learn more about his cooking skills and how dedicated he is to making sure each dish tastes delicious. This will definitely be a regular for us!

Fantastic food and very friendly service, kindly fitted us in last minute. The little restaurant had a great atmosphere. One of the best examples of Thai milk tea i’ve found! And each main dish was perfect. Aromatic, full of flavour and spicy too. I look forward to returning.

We tried this lovely little Thai restaurant last night. It's only been open for 3 months and is very much a family affair. It probably only has 20 covers, so not at all big. All the ingredients were so fresh which made for some excellent Thai cuisine. It's allowed to bring your own booze, so a win win for us. Super friendly! Highly recommended. We will be back soon.

Love the flavours and tastes from the Pad Kee Mao with Beef ( spicy stir-fried wide rice noodles), and the Khoa Mun Gai Yang, bringing back memories of travelling to Thailand, eating Street Food in Bangkok. First time coming here to the Ek's Kitchen, definitely worth the drive to get here, must revisit this kitchen to try other plates. Really kind and friendly staff at the restaurant! Enjoyed the quick dinner and had a great time!

Revisited EK’s Thai Kitchen since my friends were craving Thai foodTried a few new dishes this time: Starters • Tofu Sam Rod – Perfectly fried beancurd, crispy on the outside and incredibly soft inside. It pairs well with the sweet chilli sauce—almost gives the impression of fish. • Gai Tod Had Yai (Thai Southern-Style Fried Chicken) – Crispy, well-coated batter without being greasy at all. • Kanom Jeeb (Thai Dumplings) – Similar to Chinese dumplings but with an addictive flavour. Som Tum (Papaya Salad) We asked for a spice level of 3 chilies, and even our Thai friend said it tasted super authentic. Mains • Crispy Chicken with Chili Sauce – Amazing flavour, with a sauce that has a slight red curry taste. Perfect with rice. • Pad Kee Mao – Stir-fried beef with a nice hint of basil. The noodles had great wok hei! • (preorder)Pineapple Fried Rice – Super vibrant, with the sweetness of pineapple balancing perfectly with the aromatics in the rice. Another solid meal—EK’s never disappoints. Definitely worth revisiting!

We recently had the pleasure of dining at this charming small Thai restaurant. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish. We booked our table two day in advance and also pre-ordered a few dishes from their special pre-order menu. I highly recommend pre-ordering from the pre-order menu. We ordered Prawn Sashimi, Thai Pineapple Fried Rice and Steamed Seabass. All came with excellent quality. The food was freshly prepared and remarkably authentic, truly capturing the essence of Thai cuisine. The chef maintains a high standard for the ingredients used in every dish. The restaurant itself is small but incredibly cozy, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Considering the quality of the dishes, it is worth the price. I will definitely visit again.
